I have always been prone to severe leg cramping during strenuous activities. I'm all about backcountry skiing, hiking, mountain biking, etc, and so I've just learned to deal with it (by pounding on my charliehorses when they've occurred.)
That is, until this last season when I discovered Sport Legs. This stuff has been nothing less than a miracle for me. It allows me to go twice as long as I was able to before. I can now ski 8 hours, ride 40 miles, hike 20, without the severe cramping I used to endure. -"jodyrrr", yahoo health group forum, Meditation Society of America
After years of disabling LATE cramps (3-6 hours post-exercise) resistant to all supplement regimens, fruits, hydration, etc., I found the 3 capsules before and 2-3 after Sportlegs dosages to markedly decrease the incidence. It works for off-road motorcycling, mountain biking and windsurfing. At 67 years old, they have allowed me to return to some sports and are as important a factor as the knee replacements . - Al Baumann, M.D., Petaluma, California
SportLegs lets me continue to enjoy motocross racing at 55. It's a pleasant surprise to discover a product that works as well as this one does. My sons and I use it for elk hunting, too. It feels like uphill both ways, and even my boys really notice the difference. With SportLegs, I plan to keep enjoying the sports I love for a good while longer. -Arne Wirkkala, Naselle, Washington
I use SportLegs for skiing, riding motocross and playing soccer on weekends. It works great for all three sports. -David Caspillo, Tracy, California
Howdy...I must say that I've used your product and found it most effective. During my last journey into the Grand Canyon (it was around my 35th time in Canyon), I caught an aggressive virus that was going through the Canyon and I couldn't keep any food or water down. As dehydrated as I was, my legs never really cramped up, (I would have expected this as my body became more drained). Sport Legs helped keep my legs in good enough condition to get me from a very remote area of the Canyon over the ten miles to Indian Garden, from there I was extricated from the Canyon. I wonder if I could have made it without the use of your product. I will always carry Sport Legs from now on when hiking and backpacking the Grand Canyon (the next trip is in October). It's a great product and I appreciate you for developing it. -Brian Lane, Sedona, Arizona Author of: Hikernut's Grand Canyon Companion - A Guide to Hiking and Backpacking the Most Popular Trails Into the Canyon: Bright Angel, South Kaibab & North Kaibab Trails www.aSenseofNature.com I used SportLegs this past ski season and it really works great. I was able to ski all day with out pain. I also use it when I play racquet ball three times a week. I don't have that leg pain after playing for two hours. By the way, I am 69 years old. -Bob Pepe, Littleton, Colorado Longer workout, less pain. Twenty minutes used to be my limit on the Stairmaster. My legs would be on fire, and I was done. But I tried SportLegs before going to the health club, and I was having this great workout when the next thing I know, a staff member is tapping me on the shoulder, asking me to get off the machine. Without any of the usual pain, I had gone forty-five minutes! -Dr. William Donohue, Gates Mills, Ohio
Soccer coach’s secret weapon. I wouldn’t play Masters soccer tournaments without SportLegs. I really feel what they do at the beginning of the second half of a game. My legs used to feel heavy, and I’d feel slow. Now, I actually feel fresher and lighter than I do in the first half. And most important, that extra boost is when everybody else is just dragging. I really enjoy playing my best when everybody else is out of gas. And even though I’m playing better, longer, I’m not as sore the next day. I would have expected to be more sore, not less. It’s amazing. Another older guy that bums them from me calls them “the Viagra of soccer.” I used to almost fear it when somebody would say, “Hey, let’s go play a pickup game.” Not any more. -Paul Fekete, soccer coach, Chagrin Falls, Ohio
I tested SportLegs for a Men's Open soccer game. I felt strong all through the game, but hey, I'm only 22. But afterward, I noticed I wasn't nearly as sore as I usually feel. Even more surprising, I didn't wake up sore the next day. That's the first time that's ever happened. It feels like SportLegs really helps "tune up" my body's ability to put lactic acid to work. -Cory Kruse, Hudson, Ohio
Eased running the Boston Marathon. SportLegs really worked to cut the pain and soreness of my long training runs for the Boston Marathon. So I figured I might as well take it for the race, too. In other marathons my quads would shut down around mile twenty and made finishing the race near impossible. This time it did not happen and I am convinced that it was due to your product. -Michael Hill, Cleveland, Ohio
Triathlete: "Performance enhancer." I'd heard about SportLegs, and I expected to feel a difference when I took them before a hard training ride. But I didn't expect SUCH a difference. As usual, I rode until I was exhausted, but my legs didn't "burn" like usual. Not just less burn, ZERO burn. It was almost spooky. My wife, who's a triathlete, too, figures SportLegs are essentially a healthy, natural pain reliever for muscles. But I figure they're more than that. They're a performance enhancer. Winning is part psychological. If I don't feel any "burn", I figure I've got more energy left in the tank. So I'll go harder. And sometimes, that's all it takes to win. -Bob Zajac, Akron, Ohio
Hunter/jumper rider does U-turn because she forgot her SportLegs. When I was driving to the stables, a couple of times I’ve had to turn around because I forgot my bottle of SportLegs. I ride hunter/jumper competition, and SportLegs really helps. Over jumps, by the sixth or seventh fence, if you haven’t taken your SportLegs, you’re going to be in trouble. My legs used to hurt and shake during lessons and competition. So does it make my riding safer? If that means staying in the saddle better, yeah, I’m riding a LOT safer. -Kristin Meyer, Scottsdale, Arizona
Helps alumni hockey team win tournament. When my college hockey team members called me to play in a weekend-long tournament with them, I didn’t really want to go. Five games in 36 hours, and it’s been too many years since college. But a friend told me I could do it, if I took SportLegs. I thought, “What the heck.” After the first game, I was surprised at how much stamina I had. Some of my teammates noticed, and I shared the secret. By the third game, the whole team was taking SportLegs. We went the distance, and outplayed everybody. We won the whole tournament! I want to play more often, now that I don’t have as much pain. -Tim Brokaw, Cleveland, Ohio
Hunter/jumper rider, nationally ranked sixth: During competition or an intense lesson, I used to feel pain on the insides of my legs within fifteen minutes. The pain is a distraction; it makes it hard to focus. When my legs begin to shake or wobble, I feel like I have far less control, and the horse can feel that. The horse could buck, and I couldn’t recover. I’d be off. Horses feel your weakness, and can take advantage of that. Since I started taking SportLegs, it makes me feel a lot more at ease just to know my legs aren’t going to all of a sudden stop working. When I ask them to squeeze and ask my horse to take off, they’re going to work. There’s no question; they’re just going to work. -Courtney Roediger, Gates Mills, Ohio
